Officially 1 week and one day away! Maelie started off with her calendar once again. Another baby from the cat family. or I mean the first baby from the pork family. Thanks Kath for noticing that it was not a cat.
This evening Maelie decided to take out two games that she received last Christmas. Interesting how she mainly didn't play with them until the Christmas after.... hmmmm...
Maelie has been missing her sisters a lot this month. She keeps asking when she will see them again. She e-mailed Lisa and of course, Lisa responded. When Maelie read her message she said she immediately had to call her. So we found Lisa's mom's number since Lisa is in Canada for Christmas vacation (she will return to Japan afterwards). She talked to her for a bit and then hung up. She had been pacing on the spot the whole time. After hanging up she said "Mom i feel so shy and happy!" I told her it was normal to be nervous and excited at the same time! She had such a loving look on her face. She tried to call Michelle afterwards and left a message on her answering machine. We will try and have a web cam session when Michelle and Lisa are together at their mom's house. Maelie is SO excited!
When Maelie and I went to the pharmacy to get the stuff the doctor suggested, I let her choose one bubble bath as well. She decided to take these bath crayons.
They haven't made it to the bath yet. They are currently in the washroom on the main floor used for sink art. I guess you can say Maelie is pretty festive!! This is what you are greeted with when you go wash your hands.
