Maelie and I decided to visit Little Ray's again today since most things were closed for Labour Day. We arrived just on time for a feeding show. The shows are really the part I enjoy the most! I mean, they have to feed the reptiles & other animals anyway, so why not use that to make a show?
This little guy was so cute! Apparently bearded dragons like affection. Surprising!
The person hosting the feeding had SO many interesting facts to share with us! I can honestly say that I learn something new every single time we visit Little Ray's. The hosts are extrenely knowledgeable and pleasant to listen to!
I love seeing how the snake hugs his food before eating it... LOL ... how kind :)
We walked around a little bit between shows. Doesn't Maelie look like someone to the right of her??
We both thought this guy was a bit like me... he is touching the water... but brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......... it's too cold!
They had 2 badl eagles outside. I must say that he is pretty good at staring us down! What gorgeous creature!! I am amazed at what we have on our planet!
Next for the touching show!! Who wouldn't love the opportunity to touch a tarantula?? Maelie would never miss out on it!!
I forget who this little guy was... but he was quite soft and had little bumps!
This snake was some kind of super snake... a mixture of some kind of python with another snake which means he is gonna get huge! That doesn't stop Maelie from wanting to pet him :)
As much as snakes are not really supposed to see well, they apparently do see shades.. this one followed Maelie's finger against the window!
Little Ray's is an amazing educational experience. I am sure a TON of people said they would never touch a reptile but once here, they cannot help themselves!!
