The best part of the parties we have is the preparation! i LOVE spending weeks and weeks looking around for goodies for the goodie bags!! I am going to post a few pictures, but some of the stuff I didn't photograph.
At Fun Haven, each child gets a card (like a credit card) and they can swipe to get into all the activities. They also have money loaded on the cards and they swipe to play arcade games. I thought with a group of 8, it may be complicated to keep track of.... so i got these springy type key chain and the kids can put these around their arms. I added a clip and I will punch a small hole in the cards (not where the chip is of course!) Each kid can carry their own card, and it is easy to know which one belongs to who as their names are on it! I had little beads with letters on them and figured this would be a cute little key chain to keep at the end!
I used my Big Shot Pro hexagon box die to make these little cupcake boxes. I put some cotton candy in a sealable baggy inside, and topped the box with a sour cherry!
I covered some packs of gum with the same paper and added a greeting. They look pretty cute!
Here are a few sugar powder sticks with a start at the top....
This is Sizzix box #2. Inside I put a Pocket Bac (hand sanitizer) with holder so they can clip them onto their school bags or purses.
I got these cute test tubes recently and I was able to fit exactly 6 jellybeans... perfect for a rainbow !!
Since we are on a colorful theme, I packaged 5 Crayola chalks in a bag and added a tag.
I prepared some Happy Birthday chocolates because it's tradition!! This one is a cookie covered in chocolate!
The usual Happy Birthday chocolate suckers. I had all the numbers up to 10! After 10, I will have to manually add the number on the blank mold... because they didn't go any higher!
A little bag with a variety of candy... :)
Here is a box of big red and white tic tacs... I covered it with matching paper and put a "got treats?" tag on it.
What's a colorful party theme without colored pencils and colored "crayon" erasers?
A ginormous sucker from the dollar store with a tag added to it....
We found these perfect shiny gift bags at the dollar store! Tons of stars, and lots of color. Perfect for Maelie!
I also prepared some cupcakes to take along.... They needed to be very colorful! A few colors are a floppy, but I am sure most kids will wipe off the icing anyway!!
Poor Maelie cannot wait until tomorrow but she is exhausted! She has been doing "nothing" since we got home from bowling.
After a bit of force, I managed to get her to at least not hide behind her arms!!
We will hopefully have an early night tonight and be in top shape for tomorrow!! We have to get up pretty early! Everyone will meet here at 8:30 am and then we will head off to Fun Haven for brunch and games!! Hurray!!!
