The first morning, Nathan woke up and immediately advised us that we were going fishing. I guess that was on his check list for the day and it HAD to be done right away! So by 6:25, we were on our way to fish!
Maelie kept her eye on Brennan as she wanted to keep him safe! :)
Here they are sitting by the river waiting for the fish.
Thankfully, they both were able to catch one!
The daily chores at grand-maman's house include feeding the chickens, and finding eggs!
Maelie got to cuddle a bunny rabbit for a bit :) He is so cute!
The kids put their toolboxes to good use on a daily basis.
A bit of swimming was necessary because it was soooooooooooooo hot!!
Nathan had a ritual of making his sandwich for breakfast or evening snack. This one is particular was quite *special*. He had peanut butter, banana, ham, cheese and nutella! All on the same bread!!
Not quite sure any of us would have liked to try that! But Nathan ate it all....
Of course, the little boys got their nails done by Maelie! They enjoy it for now when they see each other. Soon enough, they won't want their nails done so Maelie is having fun with it while she can!
We tried to get a few portraits of grand maman and the kids... some were ok but some others... well, see for yourself! LOL
These two didn't mind posing though :)
We had a fun filled 3 days! Between time spent at grand-maman's and visits at grand-papa's house (pics to come), the kids really had a blast! Needless to say, we were all worn out every night! Who needs sleeping pills when you can be naturally exhausted! hahaha
I love my family!
