Off we go for a nice ride!!
While we waited for our turn, we walked around... the chickens were their usual cute selves!
Maelie took me to the bumpy area in the woods.... OUCH! my ack and bootie were not so thankful! The view was rather amazing though :)
We went for a walk in the woods. They went to get some water at "la source". It's very pure! nothing added in the water that's for sure!!
We could hear a lot of noise in the chicken coop so the girls took a look and found fresh, still warm eggs!!
Grand maman took us for a little visit in the area. She mentioned the "Amphitheatre". I had never been there so I was surprised !! Lots of rows for spectators....
A couple of stages for shows! The girls climbed up to perform of course! Peluche just ran around smelling everything he could!
We had to suggest ideas to them and then they performed...
A little bit of improvisation! We decided this would be a PERFECT place to have a wedding!!
On our walk back, we picked up a bit of wild blueberries... so yummy!
At L'auberge du trappeur, they have a huge moose just waiting to pose for pictures of course!
We stopped by a small touristy restaurant for lunch together.
After lunch, we headed back to grand maman's for a swim in the river... it was a bit chilly! but they both finally made it in :) They drifted off in the current....
Hey! Somebody come get me!
Naomie pulled Maelie back to shore.... ahhhhh this is "THE" life!
Even Peluche enjoyed himself suntanning by the river :)
How about a little fishing while we're here?
This is quite the catch! LOL Poor little fish....
It took a bit longer but thankfully with a new worm, Naomie also got a fish!
Somebody was quite jealous about the fish catching.... he flew nearby and watched. I am sure he is an avid fisher :)
We walked over to visit Dominic, grand maman's neighbor. He has a dog named Lady who was a baby the last time we visited. She is now 6 months and bigger than Peluche. That didn't sto him from LOVING her sooooo much! She is not too interested in boys right now but she loves to play!! They ran around and tumbled all over the place until both of them had their tongues hanging out of their mouths out of exhaustion!!
Lady had the most beautiful fur! All that crazy hair... just like her personality! But she is quite huggable.
That was all our excitement for the day. We had to drive Sonia and Naomie out to Patrick's brothers huse for the grandma's bday supper. We will pick them up tomorrow to take them back home! The girls posed in their cute outfits :)
The garden was so pretty at Patrick's brothers house that I had the girls pose again!! Aren't they adorable???
We are exhausted!! :) So much to do in one day, it flew by!!
