Wacky hair day

Friday was Wacky hair day at Maelie's school. She insisted that she wanted to die her hair. After looking at a variety of products at Shoppers, I settled for the stuff that washed out immediately. I knew if it was something that came out after a few washes, Maelie would truly have a meltdown after a day.



This is how it turned out with her orange hair!

Maelie said there was a contest so I wasn't sure what the contest was for exactly. She reported that one grade 4 class and her class won freezies because ALL the kids had wacky hair! I am really glad that they based the winners on participation! Another perfect teaching/learning opportunity... I seize all of those.
