After sitting there for a while, he wondered what was wrong with this little girl! So he began to investigate.
Bébé Lapin came to the conclusion that little Maelie was just way too tired to even notice that he was even there. So he jumped off and hopped home...

This is the cutest story ever! Bébé Lapin means baby rabbit, right? Is it French?
Kath: she has not read it yet as she is still sleeping on the couch right now! :)
Alison: yes bébé lapin is baby rabbit. we have plain names for our pets (guinea pig is guinea-guin ) hahah
he needed a french name because Maelie is convinced that the rabbit if francophone. When Bill spoke to the rabbit in english, Maelie complained to him. She said bebe lapin would not understand because he was speaking english. :)
Awwww.... poor little bébé lapin..... he has no one to play with..... he is so cute!
