Yesterday, Maelie decided to practice her writing. Chalk in hand, she requested that I spell out all the names of our neighbors and proceeded to writing them right in front of their doorstep. At that point all I was thinking is that i hoped i had all their names right!
Today we stopped by the water games at the park. At first Maelie was the only kid there... but within a few minutes, the watergames were packed with kids of all ages! Brave enough to run through the ice water. Maelie was pretty brave!
On our way back home, Maelie stopped by a patch of "fluffy dandelions" as she calls them. Are we supposed to make a wish as we blow these things?

Gorgeous pictures, Jen, you've managed to capture the essence of what it's like, to be a kid ! i can't wait for Sandrine to experience that, too, when we go visit you !
