icy days call for indoor fun

On Tuesday, it was a cold, yet sunny day early on. Turned out really nice in the afternoon but in the morning Maelie and I headed off to the new place called Tubes et Jujubes

It's basically a giant indoor playground. We arrived as the doors opened and so it was less crowded. By 11:00 though, it was WAY too packed and so we ended up leaving. But not before a bit of rockclimbing and Tarzan moves

and of course, to follow in Lisa's steps, a bit of Dance Dance Revolution!

all this snow does have a good side too

Maelie currently is in love with gigantic icicles

Hidden surprise

Which one holds a surprise?

3 shots... of vodka needed

Maelie got three shots today. I am not a fan of shots because I tend to think that our bodies can fight things off themselves. However, I am afraid that something will happen one day and then I would regret not getting her her shots! So I just go with the flow and do what I am told to do by modern medicine. I do however put a stop when it comes to flu shots or chicken pox shots. (Maelie already got chicken pox anyway).

This is the look I got most of the evening today:

My poor little baby! I can just imagine what bedtime will be like..... having had 2 shots on one arm and one on the other arm. She won't be able to lie down with a bit of whining.

how romantic

Maelie was working on a project this evening. She made identical pictures, one for me and one for Bill.

It's wonderful to see how her pictures have changed! The arms used to stick out of the heads... now we each have a body and limbs. I also get to have funky hair!

relaxin' and snackin'

Here's Maelie having her bedtime snack while watching tv.

Note the little tray on her lap. She had one that was getting a bit roughed up and Bill found one on sale around Christmas time. She refused to get rid of the 1st tray to make way for the 2nd. Ever since then, she HAS to rotate her trays every time she uses them (which can be 3-4 times a day). She says that if she skips one of their turns, it will be sad.

Poor little tray....
