Finally, the first day of December has arrived! Maelie was so excited to open up her advent calendar that she was up at 5:15! You can probably tell with the little tired eyes!
Her advent item had a number on it so she had to open up a gift that had that number! It was a little reading light that she can attach to her book in bed. She was very happy. Poor Lisa was very tired and did not agree to a picture in the morning!! Thankfully her advent calendar was a little gift card for Starbucks to wake her up!
We had ordered an ornament for Lisa a while back so she could have her own ornament on the tree. A Tardis from Dr. Who! It just happened to come in today so Maelie hurried and wrapped it up nicely. She gave it to Lisa the minute we saw her!

Today our day was filled with school, work, bowling practice, and wrapping. Nicole came over and helped wrap the gifts we are using for the Christmas lunch at work tomorrow. Maelie was ecstatic! She LOVES Nicole!
All in all we had a wonderful day and are looking forward to the weekend!
