Happy Easter ! (in pictures)

We enjoyed our Easter weekend! It was hot and sunny! a bit cooler at my moms house, but pretty nice anyway :)

Maelie made sure she left notes in the window for the Eater bunny. It was a reminder that she doesn't like candy or chocolate !!






The Easter bunny visited us during the night and unfortunately, Maelie decided to hunt for the surprises at 3:30 am!! All the pics I have of the treats were taken in bed as I was NOT ready to get up!





We forgot to leave some carrots out for the Easter bunny... so I think he served himself!!

At my dads house, we finally met his cute little dog Meggie! She loved Maelie right away!!




At my moms, we had two little baby kittens to enjoy!! Aren't they SOOO cute??


Upon our return, we went over to Natalie's house to wish her happy birthday!! Happy Birthday Natalie!!



Now we are back home, and poor little Maelie has a sore throat! It started over the weekend and I just hope it's not an infection.... poor little thing is going to be 8 on Thursday... She better feel better!!

Easter eggs

On Sunday, Maelie and I headed on over to Natalie's house because I needed to borrow her craft punch. Natalie had some hard boiled eggs cooling and let the kids decorate them! That saved my Easter because for the life of me, I ran out of time to get Maelie to decorate eggs at home! Mainly because I cannot find my kitchen anymore under my chocolate molds and other craft stuff!!

after green... it's pink!!

Today is Maelie's Crazy Hair Day at school. She chose some bright pink hair dye for the occasion!!



She doesn't like to mess it up much, but she likes color.

Happy St-Patrick's Day!

This morning when Maelie was blowdrying her hair in the washroom she called me in for an emergency!!



We suspect a leprechaun came in during the night looking for gold... and since he couldn't find any in our house... he left some green pee in our toilet!!

What's keeping us busy these days

This past weekend I was working on some crafts. I really love the fact that I allow myself some time to craft each week... it's like a breath of fresh air!

Maelie, Myran and Merrick had a fun dance party on the weekend!! They had the disco ball going and had a blast.



Maelie also took out her rollerblades and tried them out a little. She still finds it difficult on the street.



On Sunday, Maelie and Bill were participating in the famille en double tournament. They won!! So now they go on to the regional tournament in a few weeks! It's SO cute to see them! Of course, it was like pulling teeth to get Bill to smile. I don't think he realizes we are not in the 1920's anymore and he is ALLOWED to smile!!





There's another tournament coming up this weekend! Maelie is LOVING it!!

Why it's Maelie!! Pedaling her bike! She is relieved that she remembers how to do it!


Yesterday seemed to be a good a day as any almost-spring-day to take the bike out! Tires were filled with air, seat was bumped up a little bit, and all is well! We are done hibernating!
