I was very excited that Friday was my bday....except when I got up on Friday....!! I felt like crap! I was not even able to get off the couch to go to work. Grand maman had come for a visit for my bday. Poor her, I was not good company at all! She made such an effort to make my bday a nice one. I could barely eat and felt generally horrible. I thought "wow.... 36 SUCKS!"
By Sunday I was feeling a bit better and I felt bad that I had bored Maelie to death. So off we went to Petrie Island to the beach and the swamp! It was too cold to swim, but Maelie just wanted to try and catch frogs anyway!
It was so sweet when we saw these turtles !! What wonderful wildlife!
Maelie would NOT stop the hunt until she found her frog. Most of them were really fast!
At last! She found it!
What a blessing to spend such a wonderful afternoon with my sweetheart! :)
