Red Walk/Run

Friday Maelie had a PD day and so she joined me in the Red Walk/Run in support of the military. It was a beautiful sunny day so the first step was of course sunscreen!



Maelie was extremely proud to wear her red "Support our Troops" sleeveless shirt.



We waited for the start of the walk. Maelie was amazed at how many people were there.



We can see hundreds and thousands of people in the background!



We were so blessed to have a wonderful sunny, yet not too hot day! Maelie was pretty pooped after the walk. She also said she will not be participating again because it was boring... walking for no reason in her mind.... BORING! LOL I on the other hand thought it was nice. I love how people gather together to show their support for something. How our perspective changes in the years!
